Reno Omokri, born 22 January, 1974 which is 48 years now, is a Nigerian lawyer, bestselling author and human rights activist. The truth is that, he is a political analysis and before now, makes a good analysis on political issues and so, he is being invited by many Television stations and radio stations for political talks. From his talks, he has criticised Buhari's government of ill-treating Nigerians and in many cases, regarded himself as Buhari's Tormentor and a table shaker. It is unarguable that Reno, is a man of wisdom and very cunning that he can turn anything to his favour. Now, 2023 presidential election is at hand, because of his political position, Reno has received a lot of insults from his followers. This is because, the Reno the people knew, has changed and this we might attribute to him being partisan. It is therefore, important to tell, who Reno Omokri is now election is at hand.
He is a supporter of Atiku:
From his post on Social Media these days, it is clear and evident that he is endorsing Atiku for presidency come 2023. In his post with the hashtag #President2023, he wrote a long list of litanies to pinpoint what Atiku has achieved.
According to Reno, Atiku led the Economic Management Team that paid off Nigeria’s debt. He privatised the telecom and cement industries, that exploded our GDP and created jobs. He brought in technocrats into government. He chaired the National Economic Council that brought GSM into Nigeria and which stabilised the Naira. He pushed for the creation of the EFCC, and gave that corruption fighting body their first grant, from his budget, because they were created in between budgets. He led the Obasanjo administration’s efforts to restore peace, law and order during the Sharia crisis of 2000. In his private life, Atiku co-founded one of the largest oil and gas, and ports services firms in Africa in the 80s. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, through that company, and other companies in his Priam group of companies, personally employs more people than many state governments. He is also the proprietor of the American University of Nigeria, Yola, which is one of the best private universities in Africa, as well as the first American-style university in Sub-Saharan Africa. Through that institution, he has given full scholarship to over a hundred students, including some of the ChibokGirls".
He finally, concluded with, "My name is Reno Omokri, and I support Atiku Abubakar, because I know from personal experience that he will provide Jobs, create Opportunities, and Secure Nigeria". When a fan asked him what will happen if Atiku he is projecting disappoints Nigerians like Buhari? He crossed his heart and told that he will not and if he does, they should slap him where ever they see him."
He is a strong PDP member:
Reno, might not be a PDP party members by registration but indirectly, he love the party. Well, one can conclude that because the person he is fronting comes from the party, he will has no choice than to support the party itself. Now he is a supporter of PDP, any other party is as good as a crab and as nothing like a trash. This has also clouded his objectivity in Judgement. He must make sure anything as opponent to PDP is bring slammed with a strong hammer and being painted as bad. Because of these two factors pointed out, you should from now till 2023 general elections are over, do not expect anything objective in terms of politics from him. No need to rain insults on him, he has chosen his allegiance to PDP and will make sure at all cost, PDP wins.
