How Angry Protesters Burnt Bishop's House in Sokoto

The arrest of the suspected victims that contributed to the death of Miss Deborah, has led angry Muslim mobs to invade bishop Kukah's house. According to the Breaking news from Catholic Broadcast Commission, Nigeria👇

'Holy Family Catholic Cathedral, Bishop Kukah's House and Catholic Pastoral Centre which were built with over #1 billion Naira have been burnt down by hoodlums who are protesting the arrest of those who murdered Miss Deborah Yakubu'.

Deborah Emmanuel from Repa Local Government Area of kebbi, a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education was brutally stoned to death and afterwards, burnt on Thursday 12th May, 2022. She was an N.C.E 2 student under the department of English.

 What is the matter?

In the whatsapp group of the class, a post one Islamic religious doctrine, particularly, about prophet, was posted and she criticised it by saying that the group is not meant for such purpose. On the 12th May, 2022, her angry Muslim course mates, targeted her, beat her mercilessly, stoned and burnt her to death.

Her death was caused by religious extremism led by religious intolerance. Although the school has been locked temporary and the Sultan has ordered that the culprits been fished out, we should be able to tell ourselves the truth that MAJORITY of the problems NIGERIA is facing is triggered by Religious Intolerance.

It is only time we accommodate other Religions that we can live in peace. So sad that religion is used to perpetrate evil.

The official letter from the bishop's quarter confirmed the nobody has been confirmed to be wounded rather properties where the things destroyed. He urges Christians to remain law abiding.
