A PHENOMENOLOGICAL LOOK ON THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY IN NIGERIA VIS-À-VIS THE RATE OF CRIME IN NIGERIA

Nigeria, a country of many Churches with many prophets, men and women of God, pastors and priest, and many Christians, yet, crime keeps increasing every day, it therefore, becomes a philosophical question of how possible is it that crime keeps increasing per day notwithstanding the activities of the Christian Community? Again, it becomes ironical to what the Christian community stands for in its ideal nature: good life, truthfulness, faithfulness, patriotism and to sum it all, love of neighbour as the love of self. Thus, it is pressing to subject the activities of the Christian community to the crucibles of analysis from a phenomenological point of view to find where water flew into the ship knowingly or unknowingly into the Christendom.
