place for studies means being in a point or position where here is no
distraction and in an environment of absolute tranquility.
2. Getting
a table and a desk for studies: It does not only stop
at getting a table and a desk but the table especially must be free from any
foreign material other than what you are to study. Such materials include a
self-phone, a music radio, etc. This act will help to remove everything that
might cause distraction for you.

a jotter beside you: The purpose of having a jotter is
to write down words you do not understand while studying so that your leisure,
you can check the meaning of those words in the dictionary; it will help you
increase your vocabulary.

In
the word know-ledge is two words; “Know and Ledge”. To know is simply to be
aware of, to be informed, or to have foresight of whereas the word “Ledge” is a
narrow horizontal surface projecting from a wall, cliff or other surface. In a
simple term a ledge is what protects a shelf. Knowledge therefore, is an

keep you note up to date is to take note either written on the board or being
dictated in the class by the teacher or another person designated to do so even
if that person is a kid. If at the process of taking not you miss a line or two
or even more lines, do not sop to take note rather count the number of lines
you have missed, jump it and continue to take not, later you can complete those
lines missed. N: B, Do not allow a day to
pass without completing your note.

goes. This is a clear statement that time awaits for no man and the earlier you
start to read in time, the better you utilize time. However, to start in time
to study means not to wait for no one before you start to study: whether the
teacher comes into your class to teach or not, pick up your text book and read
even if a teacher is coming into you class to teach, you need to read ahead of
s/he. Information on what is required of you is found in the curriculum, meet
your dean of studies and request for such curriculum and visit the library to
borrow book or internet to commence reading immediately book.
4. Eat
well and sleep well: If you do not eat well or sleep well,
you will not find the energy to study your books. When you eat and sleep well,
you keep your body fit for the academic journey you want to embark upon. Eating good food means watching your diet.

Apart
from keeping your notes up to date, there are other things you must take note
of for easy passing of examinations in the secondary school or college

explain the definition first in your dialect and try to define it in English
using your own words.
